Has anyone molded painted reflectors into the front bumper?

I've seen this done a few times on the e46 M3 and it looked great. The thing I don't like about painted reflectors on the e46/e9x M3s is that, unlike non-M e92/3 and the LCI, it protrudes from the bumper. I'm looking at an '09 e92 M3 and want to see how this looks and if I should do it or not. Has anyone done this? Pics are much appreciated

I don't think anyone has actually molded their reflectors on. Filled in, yes but not molded. Interesting idea though...

i don't see why you need to buy reflectors, paint them and then mold them in , when you can just fill it in like on the picture above ...

Maybe if you mold the reflectors, you wont get that halo that you get from filling in the holes.

the halo is a possibility...not a sure bet. i'm convinced that if done correctly, you'll never get the halo. but it is a bit of a gamble.

There was a thread concerning flush mounted reflectors. However, that didn't seem to work out that well.
