The stock headers are very efficient and a work of art already. However, the 4-2-1 desing on the RD Sport will allow a little more TQ.

the question is if you really want to pay ~$5600.00 + tax/labor for those 15-20hp ?

hahahahaaha!
WOW!
SOOO not worth it...AA Software for $1000 bucks will give you the same power
or the X-Pipe will give the same power for $2000 or less.

Headers like these are hand made, big time hours to make.

You are gonna pay alot if it is Made in the USA.

Then again, do you want Chinese made headers on your M3.

Same reason Eisenmann costs so much, hand made by German specialists.

Not much difference in design compared to the stock headers other then going to a 4-2-1 setup rather then 4-1.

Are the primary runners larger, smaller, or the same size as stock?

yeah, they are hand build and it takes about 3-4 week to build a set as I understand ...

but they also mentioned that installation will be kind of expensive as well

Not starting a flame war or anything but since when did not having any competitors justify the price for such a small gain?

Im with the majority that if the gain is so small it definately does not justify the price just because there are no other competitors.

To those willing to dish out so much for so little ... good for them . Others are mentionning their opinion that price should be more reasonable considering the minute gain .

I wonder if it would be possible to modify the stock headers to be a 4-2-1? That would save a lot of work since the first part of the headers with all the complicated bends is exactly the same. Could you cut the stock ones after the bends and just make new collectors that have a 4-2-1 design like these?
