does your exterior mirror fold up/ down at the same speed? it seems my driver side mirror folds faster than my passenger side

Not quite the same speed, but it's about a second difference.

I wonder if build date has anything to do with this. My car was built 02/08 and I wonder if this was something that BMW caugth on to and fixed in later build dates

I have a 2009. Usually they are the same, but at times, the passenger closes a bit before the driver's side. I only use it pulling into/out of the garage... so not a big deal.
