I can tell you one thing and that is I voted only once! so if the mod wants too check my votes I am happy for him to confirm this, but some forum members do vote for more than one picture specially when they are of such a high standard!

its not that we don't trust you... we just want to know what the heck happened since every other contest has been pretty much down to the wire. No offense (since I personally voted for yours among others) but its just strange that among all the good photos on here, yours is the only one consistently receiving votes and in a very rapid fashion... I don't think Nikki even hit 20 votes last contest and she won.

your pic is good (like I said I voted for it), but I just don't think it's good enough against all the other ones to just dismiss the fact that you already own over 50% of the votes in a contest with more than 10 entries and still have 4 more full days of voting left.

just my $.02... anyone else?

No offense to anyone on here but I feel like watrob's picture is indeed the best one. Some of the others are either too simple or urban in their own way. The topic "urban" is a little bit broad because you can post pretty much anything you see in your every day life. In this case it just turns out that Watrob's picture of Brisbane's city line is the best so it's not surprising that he's winning by a landslide.

IMO no one should be offended if their picture doesn't get as many votes. I get that everyone wants to win but it's like you're expecting to win. Just because the other contests have been close doesn't mean this one will be too. Honestly a lot of pictures in the other contests were very good but that's not the case in this one.

Oh and who cares if "MAYBE" he created accounts to vote for himself?!?! If he wants to win that badly then let him win it.

I see what you are saying and yes it is a very good pic but to win by such a large margin in such a small time is just very odd and raises some questions, which I think is totally fair in this case. I honestly think if it were true that he was making accounts to vote (or even just recruiting votes by PMing his friends) then thats pretty bogus and not really in the spirit of the contests. We're all here to have fun and take good and challenging pictures each time so 'if' that was the case and we found out, he'd probably have to sit out a few until he got the picture (sorry for the photo pun).

Either way I think we SHOULD in fact make the rest of the polls from here on out public just to dismiss any thoughts of cheating... its not fair to anyone, especially watrob if he didn't do anything wrong.

Well whats your thoughts on the next contest being photo's on "Derelict" that's abandoned buildings and not homeless people!. Should make for some nice pictures!

Also should make us all go out a taken some photo's as I for one have none of those in my current album.

yeah i don't think there are that many rundown buildings in my area. if anything, extend the due date a bit later to get people to actually find a nice subject

One could consider that to be derelict if it was rusted down to it's shell (truck, car, tractor etc) but not if it crashed and caught fire just a few months back!

So what have we got so far for derelict, all types of buildings, cars, trucks, farm equipment, etc
