Two Different Starting the Car Questions:

Questions for the forum:

1. When I start my M3 Coupe sometimes the radio comes on instantly & sometimes there is a delay of 10+ seconds. This regardless of whether the radio, sat or IPOD is tuned on. Very weird & I don't know what causes it.

Does this happen to anyone else?

2. Cold Weather starting: The manual states do not the car idle & simply start & drive away. Does anyone let their car sit for minute before driving?

Good or bad?

Also, this car takes awhile to warm up in cold weather. Anyone else experiencing this?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks-Big Boost

For #1 -- I've seen that, no idea why though. I'm thinking it has to do with where you are parked. When I'm in the parking garage it takes longer than when outside.

#2 -- I always let it warm up for a couple minutes. It should take a while to warm up in cold weather -- it's colder from the beginning, lol.
