M3 meeting in Germany

Hey guys!

I`m rather new to the forum but since I see so many Ms meeting up in the States I was wondering if we could organize a meeting in 09 here in Germany aswell.
My initial idea was to meet up somewhere in the Schwarzwald since we could connect the meeting with a little roadtrip

... but I think Munich or Nuerburgring would be good alternatives aswell.

I wrote the text in english since I hope that maybe not only Germans might be interested in such a meeting

So first of all... anyone interested?

I would be interested, but mine won't be delivered until Spring of 2009, with a need to accumulate the break-in miles.....

I am in the Grafenwohr area, east of Nuremberg (Nurnberg, would be a closer spelling, if I had the proper German keyboard).

I live in Bamberg and have a buddy with an E90 M3....I'm down to go...and am pretty sure I can get him to go as well!

Looks like the earliest get together woud be in May as the weather prior to May woud be really wet and cold. We should have at least 15 cars from the UK....

I think there wont be any lack of people.
Ok, so if I sum it up untill now it looks like most people prefer The Ring. Timeframe around April-May due to weather sounds very reasonable.
I`m really looking forward to that already... and keep your ideas and thoughts coming!!!

Any place in Germany is fine with me. Another place that is really nice would be Garmisch. Would be neat to show up with a bunch of M3s in July during the BMW Motorcyle Rally. smile...

Ok guys we have a definite date. Us UK folks will be going to the ring on the 2nd of MAY 2009.
Ring is open from 17.15 on Saturday 2nd, all day sunday 3rd and 17.15 Monday. Have not decided on the route, accomodation yet, but so far there are about 10 cars from UK - will be more as time comes. We can always meet up in Belgium (on the E40 at the petrol station - where we meet up normally enroute to the ring). More details late.....Jerome

I'd be interested too...I'm here in Kaiserslautern and there's alot of E92 M3s running around along with a club that may want to attend "M Flight" sponsored by Pentagon Car Sales...I know they toured the plant last year which would be awesome!

Currently out of the Country but would love to attend anything in the summer or fall 09'. Hope it goes well and we can keep it going. All those locations sound great. Have done some road trips to Austria and Ireland, always a good time.
