Sirius module instruction/DIY??

Just ordered the module from Tischer. Anyone have DIY instructions for this? If not, I will put something together as I figure it out on my own.

requires programming. realize that the instructions via bmw are generic and arent exactly for the options of your car.

The module installed easy per the official instructions - however, my fiber optic buss was full, and the sirius input/output was not in the location specified in the instructions. I think I will let the dealer code it first and then I will experiment.

FYI - the car is an 09 E90 M3 with nav, BMW assist, enhanced audio.

Did you take any pictures of the install? I really want to get satellite radio installed on my car (it's an '08 and it did not come with it installed) but the dealer quoted me over $1,000 to purchase and install the module.

I want satellite radio but not that badly. If I can get the module for $400 and do the install myself I might just go for it.

thats why i said to have the dealer install it. the instructions blow...idk what they were thinking when it came to showing the most ring on a car with like no options lol

tom, do you have an option for those E9x M3s which do not have the module installed by dealer? do you sell a module to make the Sirius work?

Installation consists of the Sirius module and installation kit (bracket/fan) which will bolt in place underneath the trunk panel. Your shafkfin antenna will operate as your Sirius antenna.

I have a couple of kits in stock, this is a very simple DIY - with a trip needed to BMW for activation after installation.

my car came with satellite radio, and I have to say this being my first experience with it, the sound quality is horrible....definitely lower quality than FM radio, only slightly better than AM radio...

for what its worth, i would have never chosen that option if it had cost me anything more than a couple hundred.
