[DIY E92 M3] LED Courtesy Lamp

Hello, M3 Fighter Pilots!!

I made "LED Courtesy Lamp".

I measure the size of genuine courtesy lamp,

designed the mask pattern,

made the printed circuit,

and mounted 10 LEDs.

Mounting 10 LEDs is the physical limit on the circuit board.

The right side is genuine courtesy lamp, and the left side is my work.

Checked its brightness.

Slide to front and pull down.

Compare the color tone, between genuine LED door-knob lamp and my work.

Its color is cool white, and it has enough brightness.

what is the oem bulb?
is it W5W?
why not jut replace that with a LED?

b/c a w5w led is unidirectional and will not produce the same pattern.

I love the DIY's where I can't even complete the first step. Damn maybe I should have slept in a Holiday Inn Express last night?

Nice one but I'm sure most of us are not making printed circuits in the basement. But here is one way:

I've done a much simpler conversion. It has 6 LEDs, not as bright as the 10 LEDs from the OP but it's good enough for me.

But I'm just an engineer, not a merchant.

I'm sorry for everyone.

I like to try to think and make a new work rather than make a money.

Once if I get a money from you, it will change to obligation, not a hobby.

So, please try to make some works by your own hand, referring to my information.

It is very interesting to think that "How to make it?". It will not settle by money.
