i got a 35% tint on my car at tint king. and love it but i want something a little darker. but i'm just worrying about it being illegal. what do you guys have on your cars? just curious. and where did you get it done? thanks!

I went with 35% from tint king. They did an awesome job. I had darker tint on my G35 and was pulled over twice.....lucky for me I had California plates

and they let me go. I now have MA plates.....so sticking with the 35% on the M.

35% is darkest legally, i believe, on cars in Mass. - on front wondows.
keep in mind: combining 35% tint on top of light tint already on windows from factory
(yes, their tinted slightly) may cause ur precentage to slip below 35% - most likely high 20's - and thus cause a failed inspection.

MA legal tint is 35% side windows and back wind shield, no tint in the front windshield. I had 35% tint in my 335xi and was happy with it. I went to Maine to get the Formula1 tint. Not worth it IMHO.

I heard that the quality of Tint King is slipping though. Most people on E90Post recommend Wheel Dynamix in Natick
