Best After Market Exhaust

Well ive been parousing the interwebs for a while for a nice sounding performance exhaust for my e92, and thus far have been most interested in the Eisenmann race exhaust, it has such a strong, beautifull exhaust note. It isnt cheap though, are there any more exhaust kits out there that might not break the bank, if the Eisenmann truly is the top of the line, then ill just shell out the cash for a great piece of hardware.

I run a Eisennman Race, great sound, loud enough, found the sports version to quiet. Quick & easy to fit!

I personally would go for the full Hamman system which is made by Supersprint, It looks to be top notch for quality and appearance.

So for something that won't break the bank...might be hard E92 systems are rather pricey
Eisenmann Race Sounds great and it's not killer expensive like some out there.
Or you could wait to see what They decide to price the Diablo Race at, the prototype sounds nice

+1 I've seen the video, the Diablo Race Prototype sounds pretty good.

But I think the most reasonable priced set out there is still the Remus.

with the Eisenmann, you have to hack the stock pipes. check out the Borla, it will cost below $1500, bolt on, no cutting.

Just could not put a hacksaw to my car so the bolt on Active Autowerke exhaust is what I am now running. I love it... Its throatier and fills out the BMW exhaust note like a gem. Not Ricer loud either, nor does it try to make the M3 sound like an Italian Sports Car or a American Muscle Car either.

It sounds as it should... like a Bad Ass M3. And Im sure it will be even better when I put the AA X-pipe on next!!!

I loved the Eisenamnn on my E46 M, but the more I hear it on the E92 it just sounds too much like Ricky Bobby's Nascar....

I just installed my ACS Race exhaust and omg, it just puts a smile when i rev the sucker. Its so emotional. Tailgaters back off when I open up and slow down. Muahahah..

I feel the same way about not wanting to hack up the stock exhaust in case I trade-in the car later and need to return things back to stock. Bolt-on is the way I want to go and Active Autowerke's system seems to have the most to offer in terms of esthetics of the tips and canisters (from behind versus say the ugly UUC corsa system), tip-adjustability, moderate sound levels, and overall quality for the price. Borla seemed like a good alternative too for an even better price but since it doesn't have a noise-canceling canister design, I fear the exhaust will have more resonance than I can stand. Also, the Borla tips at least as shown on Bob@BPS's prototype pics aren't adjustable and don't quite look as good as those on the AA system.

I ordered the AA exhaust today and it's supposed to arrive by the end of the week. I plan on doing the install myself based on how some DIY'ers who have posted here have claimed how easy it is. I've done brake rotor and caliper swaps and sway bar installs, so how hard can a bolt-on exhaust be?... I'm thinking pretty easy. I just need to go find a set of ramps.
