No M3 for me....
Well, I solved the tax issue for me in an unexpected fashion. Yesterday morning I pulled the pin on my order. Why? A few reasons but bottom line is that I've bought a new 911 instead - well actually, not a new one but a 2008 model that Porsche Australia registered in May.
So after all this time and all this stuffing about no M3 for me. I'll post a pic when I get the car later this week if you guys are interested. |

Sorry to hear that, you should have put a little more pressure on the BMW dealer for a better deal.
The only Porsche I would buy would be the GT2, a friend bought one and pulled the roll cage out and put in the back seats, its his DD now.

Indeed - one of the bext M3 colours for sure.
Loving the manual shift again I have to admit. Didn't expect that but I'm definitely missing the speed limiter in my old Merc. 60kph is very very slow now - as I'm sure you guys know. Interesting fuel economy. Getting around 10 l/100km on the freeway and 15 around town. So not much different to the M3 from what I have read from you guys. But early days yet. And 98 is preferred. 95 is OK but 91 is a no-no. |

A mate of mine bought a GT2, ripped the rollcage out and put the back seat in, uses it as a DD.
