Hood latch hole help

Anyone know where the hole where the hood latch is leads to? I dropped a screw in there and couldn't get it out. Any help would be appreciated.

hmm what i did when i dropped a screw in the engine bay before was to get a small magnet, tape it to the end of a pencil and then try to fish the screw out that way... you can get magnets from your local auto shop or home depot... thats where i got mine from. i know its a pain in the arse to fish out screws but at least once you have the magnet, you can just attach it to something longer and fish out screws if they fall in deeper areas of the engine bay.

hehe..i tried it..I had one of those magnet tools on an extendable thin stick and couldn't fish it out. Oh well..Dealer replaced the screw anyways, just wanted to make sure it wouldn't cause a problem there.
