Awesome color. I got the same color on my X5 4.8is and love it. I am seriously considering getting a 4 door M3 and this is one of my top color choices..... I am between LB, AW, IB, JB..... in that order.
Can the 4 door come with the carbon roof? Thanks and congrats on your new ride. |

I love the new shots. I was one day away from changing to the Silver Leather on my car. In the end I am glad I stuck with Speed Cloth, but I love your choice as well.

Yes, I was 50/50 on getting a stripped coupe (with only the DCT option) or the loaded sedan, but decided to get something more useful for the whole family. I had cloth on my 2002 M3 and if it came in any other color, I'd have gone that route again...

Hello Kwicker. Good to see another fellow enthusiast in my neck of the woods.. Not sure if you have seen my car in town but I have the SSII sedan with the 18"'s. We should get together one day, I would love to check out the differences between the 08' and 09'. It would also be nice to check out the DCT as well.

Love to see this side-by-side with an Interlagos Blue in the same light to get some perspective. From the bmw configuator IB seems to have more purple in it.

Please somebody tell me why I don't see any difference between IB and LB here!!!!!!
Open the IB thread and LB thread in two separate windows/tabs and they look pretty identical in most shots!!! Love to see some more LB pix. |

I'll try to post some pics of my LeMans Blue soon. It's a little dirty now for pictures. My dealer had both IB and LB. The LeMans is a true blue, regardless of light. In the sun IB can look purplish. No purple shades in the LeMans...both are great colors though and very different in person.

What a great thread!! I'm actually torn between LeMans Blue, Interlagos Blue or Melbourne Red.
One thing I've noticed about the LeMans Blue and I agree with the previous poster (4times) that LeMans Blue is a true blue regardless of light BUT... I'm convinced after looking at these pics that when sunlight hits the LeMans Blue color then it looks a lot lighter blue (almost Estoril Blue-like) versus the darker blue when the sunlight isn't shining on the LeMans Blue color... have any of you noticed this? Can't wait to see your pics, 4times... I'm really hooked on the speed cloth interior.  |
