My mother can be yahoo some times. She thinks that Nostradamus's prediction that the world will end in 2012 will happen. Do you guys believe this? She uses his past predictions as her "proof" that hes always right. And what evidence is there to suggest either or?

in my lifetime, the world was supposed to end at least 2 dozen times. we're still here. that should be all the proof needed

I never knew Nostradamus had an actual date. I thought it was just the Mayan calendar that predicted the end to be 12/21/2012. Apparently that's the winter-solstice and scientists are predicting a "pole-shift" will occur.

All Nostradamus did was make a bunch of extremely vague "predictions" that for some reason are never found until AFTER something happens... Then someone looks at all his writings, finds the closest thing, and BAM! Old Nostry is a frikin genius!

nostradamus spewed crap and we just interpreted his writings to crap that happened. thats like reading a horoscope and bending it around to something that happened on your day...example: "You will come into a large sum of money" and then you find five bucks some poor sap dropped out of his pocket while reaching for his wallet standing in line getting coffee at starbucks. coincidence.. not predictions...
