ambient light issue- please help

today I took my long night drive and discovered the first problem in my new car

The ambient light in the rear and on the drivers door is nice and bright. The passenger door appeared to be off but it is actually on. It's very dim. About 10-25% of the brightness of the other lights. Anyone have this problem or know what the issue is? Do the 335's have ambient lights too?

It does bother me a lot as it seems like a light is burnt out. And I will take it to the dealer.

I was just hoping I could get some expert opinions before i take it into the stealership so i can avoid the... "sir, there us nothing I can do about it, thats the way its supposed to be." etc.

To double check just open both doors in the dark then look underneath to see if one is brighter. You should see the individual bulbs/leds that do the illumination.
