Is it bad if I scratch off the top of the bulbs? like that chalky hardened stuff. Does this make any difference in brightness?

only with GP Thunders because LED's use less power than a regular h8 halogen bulb aka "voltage drop"

I ordered my bulbs from **********s.com and they got to me the same day I got my tracking number. I ordered on a Saturday and they were here Monday, those guys dont mess around on shipping. Will post pics when I get my good camera back (only have cell phone cam right now)

In pictures they look straight up blue.... to the naked eye they are just a bit beyond pure white.

Seems like a common trend in pictures as far as color tempurature goes. I guess you have to see them in person for yourself.

But believe me when I say the blue is not THIS dominant in the 8500K GP Thunders in person.

Note: picture was taken slightly off center, both angel eyes are the same color/brightness in person
