His last post was right before the first presidential debate. I am starting to worry ... Chances are he left this forum in a hurry to facilitate the bailout bill, i.e., suspended all of his postings pending resolution of the financial crisis.

Maybe he couldn't bring himself to keep supporting McCain but didn't want to explain himself. Or maybe he is off to another country selling weapons, or whatever it is he does.

I like the first idea best. He has suspended all other activities until he is able to sort out our economic woes. And figure out a nice tidy way to blame it all on those pesky Democrats.

2. Abroad selling weapons to young democracies

I don't know about that. I kinda like having a lot of different voices around. I learn a lot. About others and myself. For example when I first joined the forum I thought of myself as a moderate. I don't agree with him on many items, but thought he had some good points as well as facts to back up his opinions.

He's one of the most intelligent people on this forum, and his points are well backed by information, factual or not. If anything, he is the right kind of republican - someone who can engage in a smart discussion about a topic. While his views may not be the same as many of us here, don't simplify this to the point where the only right wing debaters left here are the ones spouting "socialist" as an insult, and wrapping their argument by "fuck you, go back to your own country." People don't appreciate what they have until they get something much worse to replace that.

I must agree with you about Ganeil's intelligence level and the high level of deliberation he engages into.
On the other hand, the guy is heavily brainwashed by a SINGLE corrupted system for 30 years, and he will not accept any other (alternative) views even from people that experienced a few different cultures, systems and failures.

Everything I said (to him) 6-12 months ago is happening now and has been happening in the last 8 years. He (as current Admin) negated it and backed it with the Gov't sources...

There is no greater danger to this country and people than an ignorant, brainwashed smart person that strongly believes in everything he says...
