Wheel and Tire sizing Opinions Needed?

8.5 x 20 ET34
with 245/30-20 for the front

10 x 20 ET22
with 275/30-20 for the rear

on a 2008 M3 Sedan.

How do you think the fit and the offset will look on the car. I know many will disagree with 20's but I am going for look but also these are extremely light 20's. They will weigh the same or slightly less than stock wheels.

I am going for the 20" also because of the look, and those are the sizes of tires I am planning to use except I have 9.5" at the rear. And different offset from yours for front and rear.

id put a 285 in the rear just because you can with a 10 inch wide wheel

No point in going to a 285 or larger unless you are doing it for the wow factor imho. The car does not have a lot of low end torque so 275 should be fine. Plus 285 or larger have a huge increase in price per tire, not to mention that you would be setting the car up for more understeer to the larger disparity in width between the front and rear tires.

The sizes look fine to me. Depending on the wheels, 20's might look too big. But if you get them just right they will look hot!!

I am considering getting the 19" BBS CH black edition. If only they were lighter in weight!

285 would screw up the overall sizing and then the speedo would be incorrect. Actually 265 would be optimal but the difference between 265 and 275 is very insignificant. I also figured the 275 would look a bit better with the 10 inch rim and offer a little more wheel protection.

Yea, I agree but I am also getting winters on my stock 18's. Actually most people would say an M3 in MI is funny.

Yea, I know they are big but I think if they are just right they would look great. Thus I made the post asking the question.

I think is +15 front and +25 rear.

20x8? Hmm, you must be so busy answering as many post as possible that you miss the details. Yes 20" in Michigan, I think if done right they would look great. I know for someone like you that spends all there time at the track, and every single minute behind the wheel at 100% of the cars potential it would be hard to understand.
