It is and a drive shaft loop, battery box with external vent, external kill switch, NHRA drag license, blah, blah... Of course, the tech officials dont usually know your car needs these things till after the 1st run.

No nitrous in that car bud. Just alot of boost on STRAIGHT 93octane.

FYI, David Buschur from BR has put out a handful of "Full weight street driven 10sec evos".

These 10sec evo's run from 135-138mph on STRAIGHT 93octane.

To give you a comparison, my car traps 127mph after all my mods. I will need to spend a good deal more money to reach those kind of trap on straight 93.

These cars are fully built though.

high revving (10,000rpm) 2.0L
Fully built head
ported intake mani, throttlebody
Race intercooler,
HTA35r
AEM EMS
TBE
cams

etc etc

If you send a bone stock evo to BR for pump gas 10sec build, it would cost you about 20k.

But full spool by 5500rpm or so, I don't really consider that street friendly.

I saw him run a 10 in that car in 2007 at ORP. He's a nice guy and has done some amazing things with that car. He didn't bring that car to ORP this year, he brought an evo X instead, too bad. Everyone was completely floored when he ran a 10.0 in that car last year. They told him he could not run any more passes after that, lol.

If I could do it all over again, I could've done it much cheaper.

We all start somewhere right?

low 11's with 1.8 60'. I know I can do 10's with race gas, but I don't want to break my weak 6speed.

But 10.xx 135mph on straight pump is something else entirely.
