New Owner, Salt Lake City

Hi everyone,

I've been lurking here a while and thought I'd introduce myself. I recently purchased a new 08 E92 with DCT. I'm picking it up from it's 1200 mile service this morning, and can't wait to see how it drives.
While this is my first M3, it's not my first BMW. Because of the weather here, and other transportation needs, I also have an X3.

I read all kinds of comparisons here between the M3 and other cars. I didn't buy the M3 to use as a race car. There are all kinds of cars (in different price ranges) that I'm sure would be as good or better for that.
I bought it because it's a great car with a unique character, and the dealer here is second to none in service.

Best regards to everyone here,
Advskier

At first I was like,

But then I realized UT is categorized under the SW forums. So welcome!

Glad to hear about your M3. Got any pics?

Congrats! Great to have another in Salt Lake - there just aren't enough of them around! I've seen only 2 others since I bought mine in May08'.

What color?

Oh no way! I'm in Sandy area, and can't move an inch in this weather. I need a car washing station inside my garage!
