Help! Which Eisenmann Exhaust Sports or Race?
Ok, I have just about read every Eisenmann exhaust thread there is. Is there anyone out there that has first hand knowledge on whether to go with the Sport or Race.
1. As far as I can gather the Sports is only a little louder than the stock exhaust, is this correct? 2. Is the Race too loud? the only answer to this is someone who has it and has heard both exhausts, Sports & Race. Listening to the video's it is hard to tell. But one thing for sure is that the stock exhaust is just too quiet.

The Race is perfect. Only really hear it under full throttle.

um don't make a decision so fast... if you want a classy ride with more noticeable exhaust note, get sport. if you want to "wake up your neighbors" get the race.

Basically a Sport with an X-Pipe is a Race. Then Race comes out being cheaper and you don't have to modify too much in order for the X-pipe to fit.

I have a Race and it doesn't wake up my neighbors. Just have to be smart and courteous, no full throttle in your neighborhood and I start work sometimes at 5:45 in the morning. Just my opinion.

Are there any instructions included? I am heading to the shop in an hour, so any suggestions/pointers you may have would be helpful. I would like the tips to be flush so it has an OEM look.

Already so got the Eisenmann Race on...took only an hour so I was only out $75 to get it installed! I love the sound though I do think it is quite a bit louder than the Eisenmann Race for the e46 M3. There is definitely some drone at around 2k rpm, but nothing bad unless of course you drive at 2k rpm all the time in every gear. For someone like me, the sound is just about ideal in terms of volume/loudness (perhaps just a bit on the loud side even for me). If you are used to a louder exhaust then the Eisenmann Race is a great choice. But if you are someone that does NOT like loud exhausts then go with the Sport.
