Sounds like a pretty cool colour aggie,

Is it a metallic white? I remember seeing a 7 series at the motorshow with the same colour name i think, it was metallic white and it looked awesome.

Yep - that's the colour. According to David Plant down at Stillwells they only produce 4 cars of this colour each month worldwide:

"due to the special 5-Layer painting procedure of Brilliant White (normal metallic is 3-Layer & Individual is 4-Layer) – the Factory can only build 4 Brilliant White vehicles per month WORLDWIDE!"

They seem pretty excited about it as well which is great.

Thanks guys. Funny thing is after it was ordered I didn't say a word as I thought it was some sort of BMW "secret" but then Jason at Stillwells went and told Luke....so I posted this thread. Take a look at the top of it for how long it took someone to pick it up!

Nice choice!!! I've ordered an E92 M3 in Individual Brilliant White Metallic also about a month ago, will take delivery in June 09... I ordered sight unseen (just saw the sample) and have been trying to find pics ever since, will be interested to see pics of yours come Jan. These are the best pics I've come across, I've been trying to find pics of the 7 at the Melbourne Motor Show but no luck.

I cancelled my order in October and bought something else. I have some pictures of the "white shadow" car at home which I'll post for you but I dont think they're as good as the ones you've posted.

I am sure it will look awesome but you do realise that you will have definately killed the power to weight thing don't you, with all that extra paint .

Your choice will be perfect. I held a fairly large paint sample of Brilliant White at my dealer last week and it too has become my color of choice. The flecks of green, blue and fuscia (the only way I can describe the reddish flecks) are.....brilliant; thus the name.

I'm currently designing my M3 with BMW and I'll be about a year behind you for delivery. Enjoy yours when it arrives - going to be stunner in that color!!

here are a couple of shots (I posted them elsewhere) from the Mebl Mot Show. Get there if you want to see a car in that colour!

and I love the price... not

This was for the Moonstone car, but the Brilliant White was the same dollars IIRC.

Very, very nice colour.

Looks as though the RRP has gone up?

Choosing the color is the hardest part.

I wonder if women know how much thought guys put into the aesthetics that matter.
