Can two phones be linked via bluetooth at the same time?

Say if me and my gf are in the car. Can both of our phones be connected to the car via bluetooth simultaneously so that a call on either phone can be answered via the bluetooth connection.

The paired phone with the highest priority will be the phone currently connected. You can see all the paired phones and change their priority around within iDrive; but effectively only one phone can be active at any one time.

So she can put on her makeup while talking on the phone. This isn't actually so bad. It's when you combine those two things with her driving at the same time that it's bad. I've seen it happen.
