Arrow E90/E92 M3 Exhaust Systems Overview

I thought it would be helpful to have a reference thread. This thread was created as a primer, not a one-stop thread, and the burden is still on the buyer to do his/her research. I'll try to keep the first post of this updated... the thread will definitely be a work in progress.

Note: Prices may be off. Some prices are introductory prices, some are estimated prices before production, some are MSRP... I have zero interest in keeping track of prices as they fluctuate (across time and across vendors).

- Please refrain from starting up discussions about specific exhausts.
- Links to the manufacturer/performance line are in blue.
- Links to the primary distributor are in green.

I'd like to keep this as useful as possible. Suggestions, corrections, comments are all helpful.

+1

Thanks for taking the time to assemble that info!

EDIT: For the money, Remus is looking really good about now! Seriously, $1,500 is alot for an exhaust IMHO....I like the Eisenmann, but $2800? Damn. Hell, if I had my pick, I would prolly go with the GruppeM, but I cannot justify spending $4,500 on a freakin exhaust, let alone $2,800.

Very good thread!
There are also backpressure reduction numbers which are important and to an extent, give better details regarding R&D and performance gains :

Sport:
Backpressure reduction of 63% over OEM
TUV approved

RACE

There is no hacking with the Vorsteiner, it's 100% bolt on. You know if it needs to be hacked if there are pipes or not. Post #6 here.

This thread is a good idea, how do we indicate whether it's a bolt-on versus clamp on, weld, cut, etc?

This thread is a good idea, how do we indicate whether it's a bolt-on versus clamp on, weld, cut, etc?
edit. thanks for correcting me

Great job!

Regarding Eisenamnn, both systems retail for $2,895., according to IND. Backspressure reduction is 25% for Sport, 32% for Race.

Tip diameter would be another good listing. Stock is 76mm. Eisenmann is 83mm.

Another possible listing would be tip type: Slanted or straight, etc. Maybe put a pic for each in the OP if available.

Great work. I know this starts to get really high maintenance but it would be cool if you added some links to each exhaust for user reviews and maybe a product link with pictures.

So with the two other suggestions for tip diameter and tip type, maybe just add a section for tip. So you can put like "Quad slanted tip/76mm"

Oh yeah, and remove Meisterschaft/Eisenhaus lest anyone be encouraged to buy their garbage...

Great thread. I am trying to decide now between the Eisenmann and Vorsteiner. Not a huge difference in price, Vorsteiner is lightweight titanium, and doesn't require hacking off stock muffler. Negative is that durability of titanium is questionable and this is Vorsteiner's first exhaust. ANy thought on this or which you would go with?

Great Thread. Here is one to add
Tubi Style: http://www.beastpower.com/Merchant2/...ategory_Code=1

I guess the weight would be 42lbs based on the shipping weight, and the rep from Champion Motorsport said that MSRP is $3440
