Good deal would be not to buy one of these and get something you can actually shoot without significantly diminishing its value.

Put 200 rounds through it today. No issues what so ever with either the Remington green box or the American Eagle ammo, so I'll chalk up the FTL's from the first time to my fiancée sine she was the one shooting it when it happened.

I shot it a lot better this time too. First grouping is from 15 feet away and the second was from 25 feet.

I bit the bullet and bought the Colt. The amount of detail on it is amazing. I got a steal of a deal on it also. Now i wont feel as bad beating up on my Springfield 1911 at the range.

Haha, I feel the same way. I only have two semesters left which makes it worse, because I'm anxious to start a job in my field and have a much higher disposable income. Then I'll actually be able to buy them.

If I get into Law school, I have to pay for it, so I'm saving my money to build a house next year with my father to get the funds for that.

Prepare yourself. Building a house tempered my spending more than anything else i've done.

When you're building it seems like money leaves your bank account at an incredible rate. You think that these lights are cool and they're only $150 each. Then you realize you need 8 of them and 4 of a different kind then oh yeah, need 10 more for this section of the house. Before you know it you've spend 4000 on lights that are just meh.... And forget about when the builder makes a change, they don't do change orders for less than $1000.

Crazy thing is, i felt like we were hemorrhaging money constantly and we still came in under budget. Builder said we were his first customer that he had to cut a $38k check to after closing. We hardly spend a dime on anything other than food, gas and house while it was being built and for the following year as well.

I'm building as a builder. I just have to have the money to float the interest. My city is actually starting to do well in the housing market, and I'm going to build something for a small family, make 50k or so and use it for Law school. Ideally.
