I thought about that, but I really like the way the M3 trim has the stiching, etc. I'm sure I'll find a set eventually.

pm longtran, i believe he can fabricate the stiching as well (at a higher premium tho). btw, it doesnt matter if the M3 trim has iDrive or not, the center piece wouldnt work anyway.

If you get the one without the iDrive knob is just replaced with a cup, and then you just have to find the switch. Im more concerned with getting the dash/door trims really.

the m3 has a different center console trim because of the buttons etc. It wont even fit on a regular e9x

The console is the same shape so the trim piece will fit. The switch assembly, and "cup" piece need to be purchased seperately. If its a manual, I wont event need to get a shift boot.
