Took my DCT to an Auto-x today
It has been a good 5 years since I have done an auto-x so to say I am a little rusty is an understatement. The main purpose of this auto-x was for me to just learn what this car could do and to know its breaking point. I did 2 runs in manual mode with MDM, S5, sport plus, and EDC-Normal. I had no problems at all down shifting that I am aware of. Then I did my last 3 runs in D5 to just focus on learning the lines and breaking. I was extremely surprised at how well D5 mode is for this. It shifted perfectly and always down shifted just right.
I will say my new favorite feature on this car is the MDM. It honestly makes you feel like a pro. I was able to get that backend out just right around a lot of the turns. It does cut power a little more than I would like on some exits but overall I loved it. Needless to say I love this damn car! ![]() ![]()

nice shot! lots of lean tho - It doesnt feel like the e92 leans as much as the e46 , but I guess it does. On autocross you should jsut turn the MDM off next time. glad you had fun tho!
