2009 E92 M3 Coupe in Laguna Seca Blue
So I've been working with the factory for a few weeks to get a special 2009 E92 M3 Coupe built in Laguna Seca Blue - and I am happy to say that I have officially recieved the go ahead!
I have just recieved allocation for a September build 2009 E92 M3 Coupe in Laguna Seca Blue!!! =) They said they can only allow very few M3 Coupes to be painted in this color (they told me somewhere under 5 units worldwide for 2009 model year). They said the reason why I got allocation is because I am requesting it so early in the 2009 year. I am having it built to the following allocation: Color: Laguna Seca Blue / Black Novillo Leather Options: DCT, 19" Wheels, Premium Package, Technology Package, Carbon Leather Trim, iPod, Carbon Fiber roof. If anybody is interested in this car, I would be happy to modify it accordingly with a deposit. The extra cost for the paint is $5,000. This car will be sold at MSRP. I'd love for this extremely rare car to go to somebody on my sponsored forum! Anyways - just wanted to let you know that there will be at least one Laguna Seca Blue E92 M3 Coupe around! This is my all-time favorite BMW color - and while it isn't for everybody - it definitely SCREAMS ///M. Can't wait to show you guys some pictures! I honestly dont see the love affair with Laguna Seca blue... BUt to each their own I suppose.
Now, if you were showing me Estoril Blue, Im sure I would have the same reaction as some other people. Either way its cool to see that its not IMPOSSIBLE to get a custom color from BMW. Im sure whoever gets this car will be very happy. ALso cool that you are being so cool about it, easily could put the car on ebay and start the bidding at 10k over sticker and Im sure you'd get it. I'll wait for my final judgement when the car comes.

Wow, congrats Will.
 I believe you are the first person on the internet that has gotten an custom color on an E92 M3 in the US. In fact, you are the first person on the internet who has gotten a custom color on any BMW in the US since the E46 M3 as far as I am aware. I wonder if something has changed for MY2009 to make this easier now? Either way prepare to be bombarded with requests on how to do this. Actually, I am tempted to have another look at the BMW color list now to see what's available.

Thats awesome, I'm actually going tomorrow to put down my deposit and place my order for a 2009 E92..... I will def have to see if I can request Laguna Seca Blue as well!

I would like one in Electric Red like my '03 330i.
That would look so good against black leather and CF roof. It's a sin that you can't get this color or something close on the M3. |

I tried and tried to get both an M3 and M6 done in Estoril - no dice on either.
