Thunderhill Friday Sept 12th!!!

I'm going to trackmasters DE at thunderhill Friday Sept 12th....is anyone else going?? It will be the 1st track day for my M3 DCT coupe!!!

I'm wondering what tire pressures to run (hot) to save the front tires from destruction???

won't be able to make this one - what tire wheel combo do you run - standard PS2 on 19"?

yup bone stock.......but i will check pressure-temps and chalk the sidewalls to make sure they don't chew up the sidewalls too much

That is your best bet for now. Just monitor wear and adjust from there.

I have not tracked this car yet, so I cannot help you much! Your approach is exactly what I would do though. I would prolly start with 36 hot and go from there.

Bingo....thats my plan....36 hot all the way around and monitor temps and chalk marks + shoulder wear to see how things are holding up....I do plan on taking it easy as I learn the M3 the 1st couple sessions..... so it shouldn't be as hard on tires.....

no i have the suction cup window mount...so I'll use that.....its a bummer you can't see the driver-dash......

Sorry, will be in Boston; but am doing a few of the upcoming TMR events Doug sent out last night.

Let us know if they fixed the burms!!! Last month, those things were the equivalent of a sidewalk curb.
