My deler told me that the M3 e92 changes oil every 14000 is that true ?
How often do you guys change its oil?

Our oil schedule is ever 10,000km (About 6,000 miles) BMW's minimum is way too long in between oil changes..

My car is indicating that it will need its 2nd service around 8700 Kms. I also had my first done at around 800 Kms.

It varies depending upon your driving style, but that's about average. I always change mine halfway in between the BMW change.

I change mine at about 6000 miles.

I just finished an 8800 mile road trip and now have over 13,000 miles on my car. The OBC says my oil change is due at the 16,200 mile mark, which is 15,000 miles after my 1200 mile break-in change. I normally DYI an oil change at the half way mark (roughly 7,000 miles) but the logistics of this trip didn't allow that, so I'll wait for the car to ask for one

I'd recommend changing it anywhere between 5-8 thousand miles. There is no way I'm waiting for the 14-1500 mile mark.

1. drain oil
