Crab Juice!! Oh noes!
I went to Costco today for some supplies and, among other things, picked up some King Crab legs.....
Well, I put everything in the trunk. When I took out the box they stuffed it all in, I noticed a big wet spot on my carpet!!! Oh noes! I couldn't really smell anything...maybe it was just ice from the legs. Well, when I came back out to my car an hour later and got in, it smelled like a whore house (not that I would know what that smells like ).So, I took out the trunk carpeted shelf and used my wet/dry shop vac to thoroughly clean it with a mild soap solution and copious amounts of water to get any residula soap out. I let her dry in the 92 degree sun and after it was dry, it's all back to normal now....no smells or stains! whew! Beware of the crab juice! hah.

Thanks for the tip! Now that I got the juice out, a bit of Frebreze would be a good idea.

Funny, just had some of those last night for dinner... Glad the bad didn't pierce in the car, it did in the fridge though.

Glad to hear you got it out man. Crab juice has got to be bad but milk is terrible. A half gallon of milk just recently exploded in my Honda Pilot...carpeting needs to be replaced, etc. $800 of damage
. Rotting milk + bacteria deep in the carpet sitting out in the summer heat = Gag reflex.

Heh, yeah milk sounds nasty. I had a friend vomit in the passenger seat once, had to get rid of the car. Smell could not be removed. Just glad the car was a POS already. Still give the guy grief, been over 10 years.
