2008 E92 M3  [0.00]
Depending on your type of roads, I but prefer the steering feel of the Carrera 4 and 4S because they offer a bit more weight over the front wheels which give the feeling of tying the front wheels down to the ground without that bobbing feel you can get with the rwd car.

If the C2S did it in 7:50 then I am expecting the C4S to be a little quicker again.

Unless I am misunderstanding you, I don't know if I believe that the 6-speed 997.2's updates will out weigh the 12 lb. engine weight reduction.

You could be right.

I base my expectation on the now-traditional idea that all updates and new models tend to be heavier than their forebears. That and the fact that Motor Trend quotes the new S at 3350 pounds.

We'll see, and of course I'd be delighted if the new one was lighter than the current model.

CAR magazine commented that the head bobbing is gone in the updated 997S. It gives the driver greater confidence leaning on the front wheels into a corner than before.

I assumed those were AutoZeitung numbers, but I guess they are quoting manufacturer specs then.
