Buying just break calipers

Hey I want to paint my break calipers yellow, does bmw offer that? I looked into buying a brembo break kit but its $7,000 and I think that is a little over the top. Can I just buy brembo calipers and not the rotors? How do I get yellow calipers without dropping 7k?

Thanks,
Michael

There are caliper paint kits, but the process will require a lot of prep. Also, the OEM calipers are not the best looking, especially the rear--not sure I'd want to call attention to them. Rotara offered a caliper only kit for the E46 M3--check with Evosport to see if they will be coming out with an E90/92 kit. Their 6 piston/4 piston full kit with rotors was about $4k on the E46.

IMHO you should paint them or repalce them in red, not yellow since you have fox red (unless the car is tinted and you can't see the red seats from outside) Just my .02 cents.

Let us know what you decided and please post pics if you go ahead with something.

p.s. it's Brake not Break

That is actually a 330i E90 with a M3 body kit.

Not sure if the Brake kit fits the M3.

Rotora is coming out w/a caliper upgrade kit which will consist of front & rear calipers, pads & stainless steel brakelines. Not sure the exact ETA though.
