German Car Day and Track Day in the West

The annual German Car Day in Northam is on this Sunday - 27 July 2008

The meeting point is Parliament Place in West Perth at 9am for a 9:30am (sharp!) departure.

This year we will be doing our own map on the way up to take advantage of some of the twistier and more scenic roads on offer, so be sure to keep an eye out for committee members and their cars at Parliament Place to get your hands on a map. We should hopefully be quite easy to spot and will try and keep an eye out for people we know!

If the weather is looking favourable we'd suggest packing a picnic and checking out some of the action, however if the weather is as wet as last year we will most likely gather together to head off to one of the local pubs for lunch.

There is also a van selling Bratwurst and Sauerkraut near the display area on the day.

Track Day at Barbagallo:

A non-competitve event so you won't be racing each other - rather everyone will have the freedom to drive at their own pace - is planned for sometime in September/October. If we can't get a weekend it will be a weekday event.

Costs are yet to be finalised, however the day will not cost more than $300 per head with lunch and drinks included. Past club track days have been extremely popular.

Places are limited, and we need an idea of numbers pronto to give people sufficient notice for a date, so please register your interest as quickly as possible with a $50 deposit.

New BMW M owners are welcome as you automatically receive a complimentary a year's membership with the club upon the purchase of your new machine.
