This wheel is awesome.

However, I will only buy it if they make an M specific version with the tri-color stitching, the wider circumference etc.

Unfortuantely, due to the economies of scale in manufacturing, i doubt BMW will offer the M wheel in this version.

There is a ///M Trim Multifunction cover but there is no tri-color stitching. I think the coolness factor outweighs the stitching though

I'll be reporting to you guys if it works properly with DCT.

That's not an M. Look at the rev indicator. I've seen this car before on E90post. Wondering if there's one that fits the M

I have just ordered this wheel for my M3. Should have it in by the first week of August.

I have been assured by BMW that the wheel is the same dimensions as the M3 wheel. The only difference being the stitching colour. I am also able to keep the centre trim from the M3 wheel and use this on the new wheel.

Will post pics when complete.

It is overdone IMO. One would surefly benefit from a series of shift lights on the track (4-6 LEDs total), but this wheel has way too many lights. It even has an LCD.

If you don't take your car to the track then I agree that it looks dumb and overdone. However, after seeing the videos I can't deny its usefulness on the track.

I'm not sure what they are for. All I know is that they are come with the aftermarket ricer kit. IF you buy them for the A pillar as well you get a free triple layer 6 foot high rear spoiler and matching coffee can exhaust.
