Noisy/Moving Driver's Seat

I'm experiencing some movement and noise during acceleration and braking.
Wondering if anyone else has this problem?

The seat "rocks" and moves a couple of mm each time this happens. Twice before, my dealership "solved" the problem, but the third time (another service advisor) said they didn't detect the problem and could be due to my weight (admittedly I'm a little heavy... but that's another story altogether).

I understand that the Z3 (as well as other BMWs) has had this problem and was due to bushing wearing out prematurely.

Will be putting the car in again on Friday and hopefully this will be resolved.
btw, my car has around 20,000km already, but this problem arose around the 5,000km mark.

Cheers

I've had the same thing - 6'4 212 - maybe it's just the "big" guys? : )

Started happening at about 4k miles...haven't mentioned it to the dealer yet.

I felt underneath my seat cushion, there are metal "straps" that seem to brace the seat cushion that are screwed into the frame at either side...

feels like a couple of them are loose on mine, will repost when I get my car in
