Angry Has your car been keyed? Where. By who. Did you catch em and if you did, what did you

So my car got keyed the other day. I have no idea who or where. Its not real bad, but it just pisses me off. Why are there so many haters out there!

Happened to me ... Ex GF ... in front of my house ... Slapped her right off her feet... Told the cops i thought she was breaking in to steal it ... spent 4 hours in lock up and released even though she tried to press charges...

Right on bro! I dont condemn hitting women but some times they think they are untouchable and need a reality check..... As do us men sometimes as well lol

Don't know why or where, only noticed while washing it. Luckily it was not that deep and I was able to buff about 95% of it out using the 3M scratch remover system. It's only good for light scratches. Now, unless I were to show you where the scratch is you would not be able to tell.

For some reason, M3's seem to really bring out the haters. They need to get whats coming to them.

some years back it happen to my daughters car (my first e28 1987 BMW 535is just one step below the ///M of the time passed on to her). They keyed the car all around. It required a complete paint job to fix it.

Ever since then I am very careful where I park. I know nothing is foolproof, however, we can try to reduce the chances for this to happen.

I just cannot understand why someone would do such a thing.

I got keyed on my hood within the car's first 200 miles of life. Thankfully, I had gotten a brand-new clearbra 2 days ago, a 1/3 hood one, and luckily they keyed me straight in the center of the bra. I count my blessing with that one: imagine if they had gotten my powerdome or something?

I think someone keyed my windshield - as moronic as that sounds...bunch of deep scratches up and down in one place. I can't imagine what else that could be from.

I've never had any of my vehicles keyed.

If I caught someone in the act of keying my car, I'd probably take my licks and show their face the same courtesy.

Is the scratch gone afterwards? No.

But do I feel better after returning the favor. Undoubtedly. That is something money can't buy.

Same thing happened to my gf. The car was keyed on the clearbra but in one corner we didn't notice and the scratch went through the clearbra and the panel started to rust.

I had my hood on the old subaru wrx keyed the first week I owned it back in 2002. It was my first brand new car. Sucked. Got the entire hood repainted and baked on, since I only had the car for a week. When I sold it 8 years later (to get my M3), there was a clear difference in paint on the hood compared to the rest of the car, even though when it was done, it looked great and matched perfectly.

I get a few door dings now and again I hate that. Having an individual estoril e46 with how clean I keep it people can't help but hate me. I either get people that are really nice and wanna talk to me and compliment and appreciate it or the complete opposite and wanna just be jerks in any and everyeway imaginable. People will always hate and be jealous at what they can't have. It's like the grass in greener on the other side. Don't worry dude the people that do that stuff are so insignificant and will never get anywhere in life. They just feel so worthless they have to outwardly project their insignificance as a human being and their lack of drive for success. Maybe if they put there mind to work instead of hating they would get somewhere in life.

Thankfully none of my cars have ever been keyed. And if it ever happens I hope I don't catch the bastard in the act, since I'd end up in jail or the hospital.

That only happens with E46's though because they are more involving and sound better and the haters know that. The plebs with E9X's don't get that sort of hate.

(knock on wood) never, but I once had a crazy crow attack the rubber seal at the top of the windshield. A friend said it happened to his truck, too...apparently the bird thought it looked like a worm or something. WTF!?
