When to take the M3 in for a 1200 mile service?

Hi guys,

I have done 1k on my car and it says there are 400 miles more to go till the next service.

But I have booked my car in for a service next week when I hope to do another 200 miles to get it up to the 1200.

Should I cancel the service until I do 1400 or is it OK for me to do it at 1200?

You have a +500Miles (+750km) window for the first service .

That means the 1200miles service should be done before 1700 miles. (2750km).

I would do that first service a week later if possible. There's only one run-in period...

My AD.

I had the same problem last week when deciding to make a 800KM trip to Paris before or after the 2000km service.

2800km was just over the limit they said.

i think you should have re-titled your thread to ask how many miles before 1200 or after 1200 is it ok to take the car in for its 1200mile service ...
