So he doesn't know what to buy. He was looking at an e90 before but now is struggling to settle on which one to buy.

And GreenThree You are right. There is no 3.0 A6. I mixed it up with the 3.2 non-quattro. Which is pretty cheap out here - only $51K

I don't think the ES is an option - it is just a tarted up Camry.
Tell him to look at the Infinity G35S Sedan or the MB C350 Sport. If E series if out of the mind, the IS class is def. out of the world.

A quick question:

My brother is in the market for a new car. He doesn't want a BMW. He doesn't want a performance car. He wants something that is a bit more sedate and luxurious. I have directed him to the VW Touareg and an A6 3.0.

Any other suggestions? What would you get if you needed a sedate luxurious car in this price range?

PreOwned 528xi loaded FTW and BMW is making the first two payments and its 2.9 percent right now call me for more info
the car wont be a hot rod but will have nice handling and free maintance and sick warranty

the new ES is nothing like the Camry. Completely different car. The old one is though.

brand new s5 can't be had for under 60k otd... where do you guys get all these facts?

for coupe, i would get a5. it's the hottest coupe as of now and it will be for couple of years...
for sedan, c300 w/ some options will be good enough, since he doesn't want performance... Cady cts or Lexus IS or Audi A4 are all good alternative as well...
for suv, well, i don't recommend any...

Acuras not available in the UAE (Dubai).

Lexus = Toyotas + leather interior + bigger engine.

Brother will never go for a Lexus and neither would I.

Gonna go look at the A5 today.

tell him to overspend a little bit and get s5. i know it will make bigger hole in his bank account than a5 but it is so much better buy when considering resale value. plus, it will leave your brother with smile everytime he floor the accelerator and interior is the one you'd expect from top of the line luxury car that your brother would die for...

in u.s., fully equipted a5 is about $50kish and fully equipted s5 will be about 56kish...
if he can live without xenon and/or nav, he's right on the market...

A5 for me! Wow on a road trip this weekend I was in the back seat and saw those lights coming up from the distance. Black A5 came up fast behind us, gorgeous hispanic woman driving it, looked amazing. I don't even need the power of the S5.

Tell him to get the sand out of his woman's vag and get the e90.

If she is just beyond all help... the A5 would be great. Or the new A4 if he was looking for a sedan.
