How long should our tires last?
obviously the front and rear will wear differently, but on AVERAGE (no track) how long do you think our tires should last (miles)?

If you don't track and drive mildly...I would think you should get over 25K+ miles on the fronts & a bit less on the rears....
However if you track....it really collapses quickly...for example my 928 (front engine rear drive, same weight as M3, with 330hp) conti sport contact II's that came stock on a 2006 911 have about 7K miles on them and are around 30% rear and about 65% front...but thats after 4 track days and lots of aggressive street driving

I have used the PS2's on my previous car in the same sizes as the m3 and have gotten 12,000 miles out of them probally more if my camber settings weren't soo agressive. I expect maybe 15,000 or less depending on how hard I drive.

My E46 M3 with PS2s I got ~15k rear/20k front, with no track. This car should be similar if you don't induce wheelspin too often.

On my E46 they lasted about 15,000 miles. I would expect the same with the E92 tires.

I already changed the rear tires at 12.ooo miles, but the front are close to 35-40% of residual and now have 13.700miles.
I know people who change the rear tires at 7-8.000 miles. But that was not due to normal use...
