Coupe rear seat cupholder conversion - any one do it?

my Coupe has a flat tray in the front middle of the rear center console - the manual show this location as an optional cupholder. any one have this or change it?

Oh snap. That's kinda nice. The current thing we have is really useless. Anyone in the back can basically only put their phone there.

I thought it was standard?
In Canada it is, even on the 328/335 models.

Show us a pic of what yours looks like without the cupholder there

topless = wearing no bikini top!

you mean there is no lid on the tray? that is correct - it has no lid or cover.

It's a nice feature and it really holds the botttle in place much better than the cup holders in front.

Yep, I am completely confused as to why US has this....
I mean at least let it close. Anything you put in there could fly out.

Considering how much cheaper US cars are versus ROW, it not to bad that the only cut corners in US spec are the lack of Euro seat bottoms and this cup holder.

Not a big deal but would prefer the water bottle holder.
