Here's my Space Gray Coupe

Just got it tinted at Tinplus, thx Mantis! Got light ceramic on the windshield and ceramic medium all the way around.
I am exploring a mild tint to the tailights, like blacklines, and considering the Hamann rear spoiler,
I feel the rear end needs a little height...sometimes..maybe not..i don't know...

tinted the marker...stock and painted look ugly, so I tried a different ugly approach.

That tint looks great on the side reflectors. Great idea! The painted ones suck (in my opinion). Either leave them alone, or tint them -- those seem to be the best two options.

I agree that the aftermarket painted reflectors look horrible because of the terrible fitment, but why didnt you just paint your stock ones at a body shop to guarantee perfect fitment? This is what I did on my E46 M3, and it looked 100x better then the clear or orange ones.

If your already painting the orange ones, why not take them off and paint the bumper and completely get rid of them and look as if you had a euro bumper? If you can afford the car, you can afford to pay $400 bucks to paint the bumper!

Markers do look good, I started having it done on my E93 M3 (aw) but didnt like the look and either way I have an appointment at the body shop to paint bumper and aluminum trim around the windows!

Your logic makes no sense at all. If you can afford the car you should go and spend 400$ to go do the bumper. I dont think people want to spend 400$ for a worthless mod like that, when 400$ can get you a set of springs or close to a midpipe for the car. Its not about being able to afford it, its a waste of 400$ if you ask me.

Just paint the OEM ones, everyone with the E46 M3 did it and it looks just fine, not really a big deal.

I like the tinted approach. Especially on this color car it really makes the reflector more subtle and doesn’t look like something you stuck on there.
