First service - question

Is my E92 supposed to "tell me" when I have to take my car in for service? Yes, I read the manual but couldn't find any mention of a warning notification for the first service.

I checked my display (non-iDrive E92) and it looks like I have 20 miles to go before service. The issue is I'm just over 1300 miles now and still no warning.

You'll get 2 answers.

1) When the car tells you regardless of what mileage you're at. In your case in 20 miles.
2) At 1200 miles regardless of what the car says.

My dealer told me 1), but some people on here have done 2).
