New Flat bottom steering wheel from EAS
just installed my new wheel from EAS. This uses the OEM core, which is then cut and re-shaped and built to spec. We will have these posted in the vendor section ASAP.

why isn't it supposed to look like the M3 wheel? Are you guys serious? why would we make a wheel that looks like what you already have on the car? who would buy it then? Maybe I don't understand what you guys are asking, because it just seems like a rediculous question

The intention wasn't to emulate the factory M3 wheel, but give a subtle change over stock. Mostly only BMW enthusisasts will notice the change and that's exactly the look we want. Make the wheel too flashy and it takes away from the star attraction - your M3. Yes. Info to follow shortly. For those located in the SoCal area, feel free to drop by and see them in person.

I like it but it does look thinner especially on the top part as well as a tad larger in diameter than the M3 wheel on top but most important, it does not have Novillo leather so that it does not match the rest of the leather in the car. Can this wheel me made in the same leather?
I ordered a wheel very much like this one from Singapore that was very well made and even had M3 stitching but as it turned out, it was larger in diameter, the leather does not match and the wheel (an E90 steering wheel as per the serial number) was much heavier than the M3 wheel. So, watch out for these issues that you can’t tell from pictures alone. I ended up selling the wheel as I am not going to swap for something either heavier or with leather that does not match. If, and only if they started from an M3 wheel (not an E90), then everything should be great as long as they use Novillo leather and the workmanship is immaculate as is in the OE wheel.

Alcantara does look nice, but again I struggle with aclantara on the wheel only and it not being present anywhere else. Why a yellow strip at 12?

Sorry, but I don't see the point of replacing a nice tricolor stitched wheel with a flat bottom M sport wheel. Hope it's only me. ![]() Best regards, south
