I have an SSII sedan and have never noticed any green. Only blue and silver.

I will call my dealer tomorrow to change my order from AW to SSII, it is still in 111 stage. I was thinking about it for these past 4 days. Looking at pictures (I know that it will show the true color). The deal breaker was the color they showed in the Chicago auto show. I know that AW is a nice looking color but SSII is exclusive to M cars. As what somebody posted above, there are a lot of white colored cars in the parking lot but M3 AW really standout. Decision, decision, decision .....

With SSII, what are people getting for an interior?....I'll be ordering the SSII with the Silver extended leather and carbon leather trim. I love the contrast of the black and gray.

Same here! Silver non-extended interior with blue-gray trim.

Black / CF leather. Classic and looks especially sharp in an E92 w/CF roof.

So, you must have a color blind CA. It would not be the first time a CA was wrong about something.

I also read from some other forum and/or post about that green hue. I suspect that it got something to do with its surrounding color. Personally, I have no first hand experience of seeing an SSII. That is one of the good thing about the SSII that it is exclusive for M cars only, for now.

I won't be getting SSII but if I were I'd consider in this order:

1. Black with aluminum trim.
2. Fox red with carbon trim.
2. Paladium silver with aluminum trim.
3. Fox red with aluminum trim.

In bright light (sunny conditions) it looks silver but in dull light you see more of the blue tint coming through. The colour never looks that blue that fox red clashes or desn't suit it, I also think that the SSII really suits the gun metal finish of the 18" alloys, even more so than the polished 19".

I just saw my SSII sedan for the first time today. I ordered without seeing one in person. I went with black leather and alum trim. The color is amazing, its distinctive and unique. A nice change from the usual ti silver. I dont regret getting it. There is a light blue tint, and i must say, there is a slight green hue, maybe i am color blind too. I love the color. It looks mean with the 18 inch dark rims.

I'm going SSII with Fox Red (non-extended) and am psyched! I have seen each color individually but not on the same car outside of forum pics, so I'm really excited to see it live when I take delivery!

Green?

I'm going to have to pop some tabs, eat some caps, and smoke a bong-load to try and see what you guys are looking at...

I've seen the car under every lighting condition, and can't imagine how anyone is seeing a green hue...

Are you people wearing night-vision goggles?
