Detailing Perfection: Happy Mother's Day to Mom 2000 Audi A8
I thought you guys on the M3 forum were not getting enough Detail love so I decided to show you what I gave my mother for mother's day. It also will help you check out the products I use and steps I take, so you get some ideas of your own. Feel free to ask any questions you might have and enjoy!
The focus was perfecting the interior, therefore no paint correction this time around. Nice job! I love the way you have the vacumn lines perfectly aligned with alternating directions. Now THAT is attention to detail!!! It reminds me of how they mow golf courses.

That is truly a night and day difference. After doing all that work, will you actually let her drive the car again?

Yes, but to make them stick out that much and stay in-line for a good while you need to extract the carpets. When they are wet they stick out more, and when they dry they tend to hold shape longer. If you just vacume them and do not extract they will only stay like that for a couple of days enless no one had set their feet on the carpet.
