FUGLY. Chrome trim ruins it. And the boot looks so awkward.

-1, liked it in pics and saw IRL and agree with the other posts that the chrome trim sucks. Looks very cheap cut up.

That is not what an "M" is all about. There's no point in the M3 cab anymore. It's far too heavy and offers no significant advantage over the 335i cab.

not sure that I agree with all of that, but I'll agree that it is a waste. I just hate the styling. What is wrong with a canvas/regular top? The convertible hardtop is beat.

Forgot to mention my opinion here...car looks awful as the other 3 series cabs do.

My point is that if the M3 is "the perfect cruiser" then people should just get the 335i cab, as they'll save thousands and still have the "perfect cruiser".

+1. We have a 335 E93 and now and an E92. Perfect combination but I can't help to think that the M3 V8 would sound great driving the vert.

Ah, I see. Yes, you are 100 percent right on that one. Shame.

Yiicchh! The car in my signature (below) is hot. The one in the pics in this thread is definitely NOT. Two things:

1.] The SSII looks awful -- betrays the chopped up top
2.] The chrome strip around the windows sucks (also betrays the chopped top)

I've got one on order and am scared as hell now. The black shadowline trim makes so much of a difference. I can't believe we don't have that option here in the US -- BMW's LARGEST convertible market. F--K!

Yeah it doesn't look all that great. Like I said before the top has got to be down all the freakin time.

JerseyBeemer: Well now I think I'll change back to AW from SSII. Thanks for those jpg's, SSII just doesn't look good on the Cab, unless in person you tell us it looks much better than in the jpg's; please tell us

I was all geeked about the new vert, but after seeing the way it looks with the top up, I don't think I'll be getting one any time soon. Damn shame they did away with the cloth top.
Now this silver one has the perfect solid top
