Well, I ordered my wheels from HRE and they make them to fit the brakes. I currently have 20" Breyton wheels and those do not seem to have any clearence issue either. The issue is with the ET on the 20" wheels and depending on the wheel design, the 19" diameter may be and issue to both. I just wrote my Brembo contact and asked, will see what he says about the 19" wheels and BBK´s.

From my Brembo contact:
QUOTE "It will fit all 19" wheels simply from the fact that most wheels are based on the OEM specs and, as you know, it is confirmed that the BBK fits the OEM 19" wheels already." UNQUOTE Still, please check that you don´t have any issues when you order!

Thanks, makes sense! So yes, the 380mm must just bearly fit the 19" and probably does not fit the stock 18".

You should be just fine with 19" wheels for the track IMO. I track mine with 20" wheels and beat a number of E46 M3´s, so 19" should be just fine.

gotta run MPSC or street tires with 19" wheels, not ideal, that's why hardly anyone uses 19" wheels for the track. Toyo is starting to make R888 in 19" but in very limited sizes and availability.
Get 18" and you have your pick of race and track tires including Hoosiers, if your that serious about trackwork, if not then sure, why not 19" or 20" for the occasional track day, you'll just be a bit slower. |

at this point, i do want to fit the brembo 380mm 6pot front and 4pot rear, but that would render my 18"s OEM wheels (originally intended for track use), 70% stock PS2 tires, brand-new unused PS Cups redundant...
furthermore, by running 19"s for track would mean getting my 5th set of wheels (don't ask... ha ha) and more expensive track tires - more than USD$300 increase for every set of tires. (that's $300 more every two months by my calculations of the frequency of my track sessions) affordability issues aside, i just don't know... does brembo have anything that can fit the OEM 18"s and are an improvement over the stock brakes? (of course they do, but any specific recommendations?) cheers |

Brembo 380mm BBK with 18 Wheels
Hi Guys,
I'm doing research right now looking for 18" wheels that will work with the Brembo 380mm 6/4 BBK for E92 M3. So far, I have found 2 (maybe 3). To me, this will be the ultimate BBK/wheel setup, providing maximum stopping power with an 18" wheel for more affordable tire options for guys that want to track their new M3. BTW, the OEM 18" wheels with definitely NOT work with the Brembo BBK for E92 M3. Watch for a post very soon with details, and package deals. Bob |

If you've found it please share!!! I have gone through 2 rear PS2's in 2 trackdays and I can't afford to keep changing them at this rate at €450 per tire!!! Would love an 18" option. Mick |
