Ah...I would be pissed too. Would be upset that they even called to offer/ask me such a thing unless they were going to also offer a good discount on my re-order...like a coupe of $k of MSRP or ivoice!

As for 2 months without the car...that's what a garage is for! I'd have somebody, close friend, relative pick i up and drop it at my house till I got back. That's what I did with my 1st 996 purchase....I was stationed in Korea and did the deal from there and sent my wife in with a check and one of my fraternity brothers along to make sure the deal went as planned. He then drove the car home put it in my garage where it stayed until I go back home 45 days later. Is a thought...rather than going thru the whole order and wait process again.

Plus the 2009's are getting a price increase if I recall too!
