Question Service requests - what percentage of dealers actually respond?

Was just going through the iDrive menus tonight and noticed that my car called home a few days ago for the initial service (as expected). I never got a call from the dealer - had to call them to set up an appointment. It was the same with my 335, I even placed a Service Request through Assist once (had a puncture in one of the run flats) and never got a call back.

I'm just curious... has anyone else had the experience? I'm wondering if it's a common thing for dealers to just totally ignore the teleservice feature.

I sent in a few, never got a call. Do they call the car or your phone?

I got a call from my dealership. They call the phone number you have on filed with them, so for me they called my cell phone.

How do you know which dealer the request is sent to? Does it go to the dealer you have in BMW OC?
